In challenging circumstances, it’s normal to experience emotions like sadness, frustration, anxiety, guilt, and anger. But are we so conditioned to see these emotions as ‘the bad guys’ that, in our struggle to keep positive, we deny our feelings to ourselves? Maybe it’s time to ask whether those ‘negative’ emotions have a purpose too and whether accepting them can be more beneficial than rejecting them.
